WE ARE YOU ARE

From Skull Hill
From King Town
From Benhams
To Hickory Tree

We are your culture
You want us to pick you
...Hold you as victor
Hold you as our Councilmen

You tell the world and Congress
You were first
To hold that train lantern
And stop for cattle on the rail

Roll on buddy
Over shopping carts and 'frigderators
Pray not some barefoot child
...From o'er the hills

Comerce and their Chambers
Line up a picture to sell
To those here who have bought you
And sell you to themselves
...Over and Over

We haven't forgotten you
We feel your boots
...As you trample us
with progress
